Using Komo Machine's Pressure Foot System it is
now easier then ever to machine multiple sheets of aluminum in one
machining process. This innovative idea starts with our Router-CIM
Automation Suite programming software which automates the process of
nesting parts, placing tabs and creating tab removal cycles.
Router-CIM Automation Suite allows you to define how many tabs you want on a part whether it is by distance, part size or number of tabs per part, Router-CIM will take you from drawing to code quickly and in a user friendly way.

Using this seamless approach, you can now load up
to 12mm of aluminum sheets and use the Pressure Foot System to hold
the parts in place leaving you with a nest of completed parts.
The process starts by machining the skeleton of the sheet leaving the specified tabs on the part. Under this low pressure mode, the pad slides across the aluminum surface holding the sheets together and preventing undo vibration. Tabs can be defined by the programmer for size and height.

Once the initial machining has been completed,
the Pressure Foot System switches to the high pressure mode. The
tool will center itself over the tab and the pressure foot pad is
allowed to move independently from the spindle. With this the tool
can remove the tab while the pressure foot prevents the parts from
moving.
