IWF 2006 was the
introduction of Komo Machine's NEWEST CNC Machining Center, the
Fusion Series.
Designed specifically for the customer that demands a high quality, high
speed machine with the versatility to customize it to their needs.
The Fusion CNC machine
proved to be a great draw and performed to an always present audience.
Machining solid wood entry doors and solid surface, the machine proved to
the onlookers that this was another Innovative CNC Solution from Komo
Machine.

Komo also showed its VR Mach One SHO machine
with a fully automatic Material Handling System designed by Komo. Komo
showed its leadership in the Nested Based Manufacturing by offering a Panel
Processing System that includes our Router-CIM 2007 with the Advanced
Nesting Module, Staydown Nesting and Common line cutting cycles, our fully
automatic Material Handling System and the VR Mach One SHO machine.
Komo also displayed its Solution Series machine,
SpeedCut 302 custom truss machine and a five axis head to show its extended
capabilities. As usual, Komo showed live cutting demonstrations and also
On-the-Fly demos to show the ease off use of the Router-CIM software and
Komo CNC machines.
Komo Machine, Inc. is also
pleased to say that our efforts for the IWF 2006 Show are going to a good
cause. Komo Machine has donated all the nightstands that it produced to the
Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. Komo believes that helping the community is
not only an option, but our obligation. We strive to sustain a close
relationship with our community in Sauk Rapids,
Minnesota,
but also communities that have helped us become who we are today.
Komo produced 20 finished
nightstands that will be going to Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. The
nightstands were designed by Komo Applications Engineers Steven Mehr and Al
Scherping. They all received a solid surface top with an elegant inlay. All
the parts of the nightstands were produced at the IWF 2006 Show on the Komo
CNC machining centers. The nightstands were delivered to the Furniture Bank
of Metro Atlanta on Monday, August 28th, 2006. They will be
placed in deserving homes in the local Atlanta community.
Komo would like to thank
